Amb la meva germana i en Cesc, vam pujar al Bar 360 de l'Hotel Barceló de la Rambla del Raval.

Aquestes en són una part de les vistes des de l'onzena planta.

Realment bonic.

With my sister and Cesc, we went up to Hotel Barceló's 360 Bar at Rambla del Raval.

Girona m'enamora!

Encara que per anar a estudiar a la biblioteca de Les Àguiles hagi d'apacar el cotxe dalt de la muntanya...

Això ha significat haver de fer una bona caminada, però m'ha permès gaudir d'aquestes boniques vistes.

I love Girona!

Even though go to study at Les Àguiles library I had to park my car on the top of the hill...

This meant such a walk but also allowed me to enjoy this beautiful view.

Dia 241 - Any 3 // Day 241 - Year 3

L'altre dia, passant fotos de l'ordinador al disc dur, vaig mirar-ne unes quantes.

Aquesta de l'estiu del 2011 a Tuira Beach a Oulu em va fer aturar uns segons.

M'agrada!

M'agraden les dues casetes de fusta blau cel amb finestres vermelles {són vestidors},

m'agrada el riu i com l'aigua reflexa els edificis,

m'agrada l'herba ben verda.

M'agrada els records que em porta d'un molt bon estiu a Oulu i a Finlàndia en general.

The other day, while I was transferring photos from my computer to my external memory, I took some time to look at some of them.

The one above is from Summer of 2011 at Tuira Beach in Oulu, made me stop for a little longer.

I like it!

I like the two sky blue wooden houses with red window frames {they are changing rooms},

I like the river and how the water reflects the buildings,

I like the bright green grass.

I love the memories this photo evokes to me of a really good Summer spent in Oulu and Finland in general.

Dia 139 - Any 3 // Day 139 - Year 3

Aquesta nit he dormit molt poc, unes 3 horetes aproximadament,

ja que tenia un examen i volia repassar el temari al màxim.

Així que després de l'examen, estava ben cansada.

He dormit una mitja horeta abans de dinar i volia fer el mateix després de dinar.

Però després he pensat que seria millor aprofitar per fer alguna altra cosa i guardar la son per la nit.

Així que he agafat la càmera i he anat a passejar en direcció a Plaça Espanya.

I després d'això, he anat a córrer amb la Bet per tal d'estar ben esgotada a la nit.

I ho estic.

Last night I slept so little, around 3 hours,

because I had an exam today and I wanted to review of all the exam syllabus.

So after the mentioned exam, I was so very tired.

I slept half an hour before lunch time and I intended to do so after lunch.

But then I thought it was better to do something else so I wouldn't be sleepless at night.

So I took my camera and headed for a stroll towards Plaça Espanya.

And after that, I went jogging with Bet so I would be extremely exhausted at night.

And I am.

Dia 120 - Any 3 // Day 120 - Year 3

De camí m'he aturat per fer fotos del monunent a Colom. // On my way there, I stopped to take pics of Columbus monument. 

Una de les primeres coses que em va venir al cap quan em van regalar la Third Eye va ser:

"Merda! Fa poc que hi ha hagut lluna plena... M'hauré d'esperar bastant fins la pròxima!"

Un dels múltiples motius pels quals tenia ganes de tenir una càmera millor,

era per poder tirar fotos on s'apreciessin totes les sombres {la cara, que li'n dic jo} de la lluna.

Així que vaig mirar el calendari per saber quin dia seria la pròxima lluna plena.

Demà, el dia 27 de gener.

Però, avui no estava gens concentrada a la biblioteca, així que he decidit agafar la càmera i anar a la Barceloneta a tirar fotos de la sortida de la lluna pel mar.

Una escena molt bonica que vaig descobrir l'octubre passat.

On of the first things that came to my mind when they gifted me the Third Eye was:

"Shit! The full moon just happened recently... I will have to wait quite a lot until the next one!"

One of the many reasons I wanted a better camera,

was to be able to take photos of the moon where all its shadows {the face, as I call it} could be perfectly seen.

So, I looked at a calendar to check when the next full moon would be.

Tomorrow, January 27th is the day.

But, today I was not really concentrated at the library, so I decided to take the camera and to go to "La Barceloneta" to take some pics of the almost full moon rising from the sea.

Beautiful sight I discovered last October.

 

Quan hi he arribat, la lluna ja estava bastant amunt.

I només un parell de segons més tard ja estava tapada per els núvols que cobrien el cel.

Així que sí, he arribat T-A-R-D! 

Sí, fins i tot en això arribo tard... {Tinc el petit defecte d'arribar tard als llocs.}

La culpa, que m'he parat a tirar fotos al Monument de Colom.

When I got there, the moon was already quite high.

And only a few seconds later, it was behind the clouds that covered the sky,

So yes, I arrived L-A-T-E!

Yes, even at that I arrived late... {I have the little flaw to arrive always late.}

The reason, I stopped to take some pics of Columbus monument on the way there.

Però, més tard, per fi he vist la lluna!

But, later, finally I got to see the moon!

Dia 114 - Any 3 // Day 114 - Year 3

Avui he acompanyat al meu pare a passejar els gossos.

I he aprofitat l'oportunitat per agafar la Third Eye i fer unes quantes fotos. 

A sota en teniu una petita mostra.

Today I went with my father to walk the dogs.

And I've taken the opportunity and brought the Third Eye with me to take some photos.

Below you have a small sample.

Aquesta primera foto m'agrada i no ha requerit cap retoc.

 Però la segona... és una història totalment diferent.

Quan l'he passat a l'ordinador era totalment negra, però gràcies a l'iphoto ara es pot apreciar quelcom.

Encara és molt fosca, però en part crec que té la seva gràcia. 

Això són les aventures de tirar fotos a "modo manual" amb una càmera que no tens ni idea de com funciona.

I like the first photo and it didn't require any editing.

 But the second one... it's a completely different story.

When I transfered it to the computer it was totally black, but thanks to iphoto now you can see something.

It's still quite dark, but in some way it has it's "charms".

These are the adventures of taking photos in "manual mode" with a camera I have no clue how it works.

Dia 85 - Any 3 // Day 85 - Year 3

Vistes de Barcelona des del Turó de la Rovira. // View of Barcelona from Turó de la Rovira.

Avui els meus pares m'han vingut a buscar a Barcelona.

I la meva mare que s'enrecordava que els hi havia dit que el pròxim cop que vinguéssin els portaria a un lloc nou, m'ho ha recordat.

Així que els he portat fins aquí dalt, al Turó de la Rovira.

Les vistes no els han pas decepcionat! :D

Today my parents came to pick me up in Barcelona.

And my mother who remembered that I had told them that the next time they would come I will take them to a new place, asked me to take them there.

So I took them up here, at Turó de la Rovira.

The view didn't disappoint them! :D

Dia 70 - Any 3 // Day 70 - Year 3

Quan he sortir de casa per anar a passejar els gossos aquesta tarda,

he vist que s'estava produint una preciosa posta de sol.

Hem pujat al cotxe i m'he espavilat a anar cap als Àngels,

i buscar el lloc on tenir unes bones vistes.

Anava a contrarellotge,

així que abans d'arribar a lloc he parat un moment al costat de la carretera per tirar una foto.

Tot i que la foto no ho mostra del tot bé,

hi havia mig cel ple de núvols de color entre taronjós i rosat 

i l'altra meitat de cel no tenia ni un sol núvol.

When I walked outside my house to walk our dogs this afternoon,

I saw that there was a beautiful sunset. 

We hopped on the car and off we went to Els Àngels,

searching for the perfect place where to have great views.

Time was against me,

so I stopped beside the road to take a quick photo.

Even though the photo doesn't show it as beautiful as it was,

there was half the sky with orangey and pinky clouds,

the other half had no clouds.

Dia 34 - Any 3 // Day 34 - Year 3

Avui ha fet un dia perfecte,

i aquestes eren les vistes des del meu lloc preferit a Els Àmgels.

De fons, els Pirineus ben nevats! :D

Today was a perfect sunny day,

and this was the view from my favorite spot at Els Àngels.

On the background, the Pyrenees snowed! :D

Dia 3 - Any 3

Avui, després de dinar, he decidit agafar la bici i anar a donar un volt per Barcelona

i així, aprofitar el bon temps que feia.

Quan l'any passat amb la Liisa vam llogar les bicis pel dia 1 de gener,

l'home que ens les va llogar ens va dir llocs interessant per anar a visitar, 

essent el Parc de Diagonal-Mar un d'ells.

No ens va donar temps de visitar-ho tot,

i el Parc de Diagonal-Mar va quedar descartat de la llista de coses a fer.

Però a mi em va quedar la curiositat de veure'l.

Així que avui m'hi he dirigit.

De camí he travessat tot Barcelona, descobrint així el barri de Poblenou del qual m'ha encantat l'aire de poblet que s'hi respira,

m'he parat al Parc del Centre de Poblenou

i finalment he arribat al Parc.

Quina decepció que m'he emportat!!! Sort que no hi vam anar amb la Liisa.

Today, after lunch, I decided to take the bike and go for a ride around Barcelona

in order to enjoy the good weather.

Last year when Liisa and me rented bikes on January 1st,

the man who hired them to us told us interesting places to visit,

being Diagonal Mar Park one of his suggestions.

We didn't have time to visit everything,

and Diagonal Mar Park was ruled out of the list of things to do.

But since then I've been curious to see it.

So today I went.

On my way there I crossed the entire city, getting to discover the neighborhood of Poblenou of which I loved the feeling of little town it breathed,

I stopped at Parc del Centre de Poblenou

and finally reached the park.

What a disappointment that I had!!! I am grateful that we didn't go there with Liisa.

Després de donar una volta pel parc,

he sortit direcció al Passeig Marítim de Barcelona.

De camí he passat pel costat de la Torre Macosa

 i he descobert també el lloc on m'agradaria viure de Barcelona. Seguiré somiant...

After a ride through the park,

I went towards Passeig Marítim of Barcelona (seafront).

On my way there I passed by Torre Macosa

  and found the place where I would like to live in Barcelona. I'll keep on dreaming...

He pedalejat fins al final del passeig i al peu de l'Hotel W,

m'he assegut a la sorra des d'on podia contemplar les vistes de la foto de dalt.

Aprofitant els últims rajos de sol,

he llegit una mica escoltant com a únic soroll de fons la remor del mar.

Quan el sol ja s'havia post i començava a fer més fresqueta,

m'he calçat i he iniciat el camí de tornada.

Però m'he emportat una última gran sorpresa,

una espectacular lluna plena vermellosa sortint del mar.

Avui ha sigut un dia 10!!!

I cycled to the end of the promenade and at the foot of the Hotel W,

I sat in the sand from where I could enjoy the views of the photo above.

Taking advantage of the last rays of sun

I read a bit, having as the only background sound, the one of the sea.

When the sun had almost completely post and it was starting to be chilly,

I put my shoes on and I started my way back.

But I had one last surprise,

an spectacular red full moon rising from the sea.

Today was a perfect day!!!

Dia 331 - Any 2

Cel blau i núvols blancs,

sempre una bona combinació.

Dia 318 - Any 2

Aquí us presento en Nuk, el gos de la meva germana.

Here I introduce you, Nuk, my sister's dog.

La meva germana i en Cesc estan de vacances, 

així que avui hem anat a fer una visita a en Nuk.

Ha estat molt content de veure'ns.

A qui potser no li ha agradat massa la visita ha sigut a en Kiu,

que sense trobar-se massa bé, i crec que sense tenir masses ganes, 

s'ha vist obligat a jugar amb l'energètic Nuk.

My sister and Cesc are on holidays,

so today we paid a visit to Nuk.

He was more than thrilled to see us.

Who might haven't liked the visit that much was Kiu,

who while doesn't feeling really well, and I believe without much will,

was forced to play with the playful Nuk.

L'estona que hem estat allà, hem pogut gaudir d'un bonic espectacle.

Primer podiem veure la pluja caure a la llunyania,

després els llampecs que omplien el cel.

Finalment unes quantes gotes han caigut, però poc després ha tornat a sortir el sol

i ha aparegut l'arc de Sant Martí,

que una mica més tard s'ha convertit en un arc de Sant Martí doble {a la foto es pot apreciar lleugerament}.

Després ha començat l'espectacle del núvols, fent formes del tot estranyes

fins a acabar amb una bonica posta de sol.

Com us podeu imaginar, no podia parar de tirar fotos.

While we were there, we could enjoy a really beautiful nature show.

First we were able to see rain falling at the distance,

also lightning that took all the sky.

Finally, rain arrived where we were, but not much time later the sun appeared again

so the rainbow made its appearance.

A little bit later, changed into a double rainbow {it can be slightly appreciated in the photo}.

Afterwards, the clouds show started, which consisted of strange cloud figures

until a beautiful sunset took all my attention.

As you can imagine, I couldn't stop taking photos.
