Dia 68 - Any 3 // Day 68 - Year 3

World Press Photo 12 del CCCB.

Today, before theatre rehearsal,
I went with Marina and Gerard to see the exhibition
World Press Photo 12 del CCCB.

Like at last year's exhibition,
there are photos of all kind.
Some make me shiver,
like when reading that the little girl on the photo was married at age 6 with a man 19 years older.
Some make me thought,
like when seeing a 74 years old japanese refugee living inside a cartoon house.
And some that make my blood boil
realizing how human selfishness can cause so much pain and put in danger white rhinos.

But some are simply beautiful,
like this one with professional swimmers about to jump into the pool,
or this one of a ginormous cave in Vietnam,
or the one with two people spreading hope messages in a situation of great adversity.

But my favorite,
the one you can see above of a woman who is a tsunami survivor.
Don't you think her wrinkles are beautiful and adorable?
I do.

I will only add that you should see the exhibition.
It's so worth it!

  1. Hi Aiketa,
The photo exhibition sounds great. In the photo above the light gives it more strong impression.
