Dia 3 - Any 3

Avui, després de dinar, he decidit agafar la bici i anar a donar un volt per Barcelona

i així, aprofitar el bon temps que feia.

Quan l'any passat amb la Liisa vam llogar les bicis pel dia 1 de gener,

l'home que ens les va llogar ens va dir llocs interessant per anar a visitar, 

essent el Parc de Diagonal-Mar un d'ells.

No ens va donar temps de visitar-ho tot,

i el Parc de Diagonal-Mar va quedar descartat de la llista de coses a fer.

Però a mi em va quedar la curiositat de veure'l.

Així que avui m'hi he dirigit.

De camí he travessat tot Barcelona, descobrint així el barri de Poblenou del qual m'ha encantat l'aire de poblet que s'hi respira,

m'he parat al Parc del Centre de Poblenou

i finalment he arribat al Parc.

Quina decepció que m'he emportat!!! Sort que no hi vam anar amb la Liisa.

Today, after lunch, I decided to take the bike and go for a ride around Barcelona

in order to enjoy the good weather.

Last year when Liisa and me rented bikes on January 1st,

the man who hired them to us told us interesting places to visit,

being Diagonal Mar Park one of his suggestions.

We didn't have time to visit everything,

and Diagonal Mar Park was ruled out of the list of things to do.

But since then I've been curious to see it.

So today I went.

On my way there I crossed the entire city, getting to discover the neighborhood of Poblenou of which I loved the feeling of little town it breathed,

I stopped at Parc del Centre de Poblenou

and finally reached the park.

What a disappointment that I had!!! I am grateful that we didn't go there with Liisa.

Després de donar una volta pel parc,

he sortit direcció al Passeig Marítim de Barcelona.

De camí he passat pel costat de la Torre Macosa

 i he descobert també el lloc on m'agradaria viure de Barcelona. Seguiré somiant...

After a ride through the park,

I went towards Passeig Marítim of Barcelona (seafront).

On my way there I passed by Torre Macosa

  and found the place where I would like to live in Barcelona. I'll keep on dreaming...

He pedalejat fins al final del passeig i al peu de l'Hotel W,

m'he assegut a la sorra des d'on podia contemplar les vistes de la foto de dalt.

Aprofitant els últims rajos de sol,

he llegit una mica escoltant com a únic soroll de fons la remor del mar.

Quan el sol ja s'havia post i començava a fer més fresqueta,

m'he calçat i he iniciat el camí de tornada.

Però m'he emportat una última gran sorpresa,

una espectacular lluna plena vermellosa sortint del mar.

Avui ha sigut un dia 10!!!

I cycled to the end of the promenade and at the foot of the Hotel W,

I sat in the sand from where I could enjoy the views of the photo above.

Taking advantage of the last rays of sun

I read a bit, having as the only background sound, the one of the sea.

When the sun had almost completely post and it was starting to be chilly,

I put my shoes on and I started my way back.

But I had one last surprise,

an spectacular red full moon rising from the sea.

Today was a perfect day!!!
